This is to encourage all of you who spend every moment of every day trying to make a difference in this world, volunteering for all things which are good, working and doing, and ending each day exhausted. If you are striving to be good enough, struggling to get all the demands placed upon you done, feeling guilty when you pull away and say no, and breaking under the weight that you feel is on you, read the verses below from Micah about what the Lord requires of you.
[BE JUST (behave according to what is morally right and fair), LOVE OTHERS, BE KIND, & WALK HUMBLY WITH YOUR GOD.]
Rest in the garden with Jesus today, and let God be God. He doesn’t NEED your help to be God, he simply wants to love you, spend time with you, and touch others through you. God makes mighty things happen with just one word. God does amazing things with just one touch. God sees the big picture, and he created you just as he meant to, and in his image. Why do we think that we know better than God what our daily schedule should look like?
SURENDER every moment to God and watch him work. REST IN THE GARDEN WITH HIM. BE JUST. LOVE OTHERS. BE KIND. WALK HUMBLY WITH YOUR GOD.
Micah 6:6-8 AMP – With what shall I come before the Lord [to honor Him] And bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, With yearling calves? Will the Lord be delighted with thousands of rams, Or with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I present my firstborn for my acts of rebellion, The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you Except to be just, and to love [and to diligently practice] kindness (compassion), And to walk humbly with your God [setting aside any overblown sense of importance or self-righteousness]?
