Regardless of what lies before us or what we’re facing in this moment, God instructs us to pray without ceasing and to be give thanks in all circumstances. Prayer is a conversation with God, and if we accept Jesus as our Savior, we have been given direct access to be able to talk with God our Father. We don’t have to feel like we don’t know enough to pray, because even children’s prayers are heard by God. We don’t have to feel like we haven’t earned the right to pray, because Jesus’s sacrifice of his life was payment for our sins that might have hindered our ability to pray.

Build a habit of praying into your daily life, and watch with expectation that your relationship with God will grow deeper each day as you also learn to be dependent on him for everything that you were created to need from him. He knows what is best for each one of us and he answers our prayers according to his will and timing, not ours, so don’t give up praying in all things.
